T7 RNA Polymerase, low dsRNA 50 U/µl is used in In-vitro transcription to incorporate NTPs into the growing mRNA chain, especially in mRNA synthesis. It is an DNA-dependent RNA polymerase and synthesizes RNA in 5’→3′ direction from linear DNA containing the T7 promoter. Compared to the wild-type T7 RNA polymerase, this product generates much lower level of double-strand RNA (dsRNA) during the IVT process, which makes the mRNA less immunogenic. Either linearized plasmids or PCR products can be used as IVT templates.
This product comes with a 10x Transmission Buffer.
